The short version. Your school is the customer. It decides who has an account and what is recorded; what staff write in Managit is the school's work record. We run the service, keep it private to the school, and do nothing else with it.
1. Who these terms are for
Managit is provided by Akarsh Krishna Athota ("we") to schools ("the school") under a written or emailed subscription agreement. If you are a member of staff using Managit, you use it under your school's subscription, and these terms explain what that means for you. The school's agreement governs price, term and support; where the two differ, the agreement wins for the school.
2. Your account
Your school's administrator creates your login and can change or remove it. Keep your password to yourself; tell your administrator if you think someone else has used it. You may ask for your account to be deleted from inside the app; the school removes it, as described in our privacy policy.
3. What Managit is for
Managit records work: tasks, reports, checklists, approvals and notices for the staff of a school. Use it for that. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, anything unlawful, or anything about students beyond what a task needs. The school decides who sees what; Managit enforces the school's reporting lines.
4. The school's records
What staff write in Managit belongs to the school as its work record. The school can export it at any time and can ask us to delete it when the subscription ends. We do not sell it, show advertising against it, or use it for anything other than running the service and, in aggregate without names, understanding how the product is used.
5. Notifications and WhatsApp
The app may send push notifications; you can turn them off in your phone's settings. WhatsApp reminders are sent only to staff whose number and consent the school has recorded, and stop when the school removes either.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Managit available around the clock and tell schools about planned interruptions. We may change or add features; if a change removes something the school relies on, we will tell the school first. Managit is provided as it is; to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use beyond what the school's agreement provides.
7. Ending
The school may end its subscription under its agreement; we may suspend a school's access for non-payment or misuse after telling the school. When a subscription ends, the school's records are exported or deleted at the school's choice.
8. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Hyderabad, Telangana. Questions: ops@managit.in.
